DPIIT MOU Signing

Maruti Suzuki India Limited (“Maruti Suzuki”) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (“MoU”) with the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India. The collaboration aims to encourage and support startups recognized under the ‘Startup India’ initiative to develop technology-driven solutions in the automobile manufacturing and mobility space, facilitating startup funding and opportunities to invest in startups.

Startups recognized by DPIIT will be eligible to participate in Maruti Suzuki’s innovation programs. Selected startups will receive expert mentorship, industry insights, and access to Maruti Suzuki’s infrastructure for solution validation, supporting their journey towards startup funding. They will also have opportunities to connect with incubators, accelerators, and investors looking to invest in startups. The initiative supports the Government’s Startup India and Make in India missions.
