Maruti Suzuki announces winners of Idea Hunt of Nurture Program for Assam Round

The Assam edition of Maruti Suzuki’s Nurture Idea Hunt concluded with a 2-day program held at Assam Startup - the nest on March 29 and 30, 2023.

Twenty early-stage startups were selected to pitch their ventures before the panel, comprising Mr. Aditya Aggarwal, Executive Vice President, MSIL; Mr. Rohan Chhatwal, Deputy General Manager, Head - Innovation Centre of Excellence, MSIL; Mr. Pranjal Konwar, COO, IIM Calcutta Innovation Park; and Mr. Rajarshi Sarma, Program Head, North East Entrepreneurship Development Programme.

The four startups to walk away with the winning cash prizes are Deroi Tea, Urjjah EV Mobility, Hopun Innovations and Backyard Creators.

The first day of the program saw a special session on "The Winning Pitch" conducted by Mr. Pankaj Baruah - IIMCIP Mentor and Ex-VP of Furlenco. The entrepreneurs were guided on polishing their pitch decks, following which they engaged in a mock pitching session. The exercise ensured that the entrepreneurs put their best foot forward during the final pitching on the second day of the program.
