German Delegation Visit

The Innovation team at Maruti Suzuki India Limited had the honour of hosting a high-level German delegation at our Innovation Gym office as part of the startup program in India. The delegation, led by Ms. Franziska Giffey—Mayor of Berlin and Senator for Economy, Energy, and Public Enterprises—included 25 distinguished members comprising CEOs, corporate leaders, and policymakers from across Germany. The visit was graced by MD san, along with senior MSIL leadership from Digital Enterprise, strengthening the Maruti Suzuki partnership ethos.

The objective of the visit was to provide insights into India’s thriving innovation ecosystem and showcase how Maruti Suzuki fosters startup-driven solutions through its innovation charter, with a special focus on startup business funding. Maruti Suzuki Innovation alumni startups presented their solutions which was highly appreciated by the delegation, reflecting the strength and potential of our collaborative innovation model and the positive impact of startup business funding. These interactions not only demonstrated but also opened potential avenues for these startups to explore opportunities within the German market.

MD San extended a warm welcome to Ms. Giffey and expressed appreciation for the delegation’s interest in our innovation efforts and Maruti Suzuki partnership opportunities.

The event also served as a platform to explore cross-border opportunities, especially in mobility, technology, and entrepreneurship, building bridges between Indian and German innovation networks with continued support for the startup program in India.
