Launch of research report “Road to Recovery: India’s Tech Startup Landscape 2024” — Maruti Suzuki Innovation in partnership with Nasscom

Maruti Suzuki Innovation partnered with Nasscom for conducting collaborative research report on, “Road to Recovery: India’s Tech Startup Landscape 2024” which was unveiled on 3rd April 2025 at Startup Mahakumbh, New Delhi.
Startup Mahakumbh 2025, one of India’s largest startup event, hosted 3000+ exhibitors, 1000+ investors, 5000+ entrepreneurs, and 50,000+ business visitors across 10 thematic tracks and 50+ country delegations.
At the event Dr. Tapan Sahoo, Mr. Eiichi Ikeda, Mr. Rohan Chhatwal & Mr. Rahul Kumar from Maruti Suzuki along with Senior leadership from Nasscom Mr. Achyuta Ghosh, Kritika Murugesan and Sangeeta Gupta unveiled the report at Startup Mahakumbh.
“Aligned with the Viksit Bharat Vision 2047, the research report highlights how India's startup ecosystem is driving economic growth, technological self-reliance, and global competitiveness. India’s tech-startup ecosystem saw remarkable growth in 2024, with a 2.1X rise in unique startups, 78% surge in deep-tech funding, and 3X increase in IPOs. Corporate acquisitions rose 5.7X since 2019, while incubators and early-stage investments also expanded. Top five sectors accounted for 68% of total funding, reflecting strong investor confidence and sectoral momentum. From rising Deep-Tech investments to evolving tech-startups dynamics, the report offers recommendations for startups, corporates and policymakers to address both current and future needs.”
